As we gear up for interviews with designers aspiring to send their garments down the runway this season, we are excited to announce our Selection Panels for Omaha Fashion Week: February 2018! The panels are comprised of independent industry experts who will spend the next four months mentoring and coaching two separate tracks of designers to present their best on the runway in February. Another season of Omaha Fashion Week is fast approaching, and we're already looking forward to kicking off another year as the backdrop for incredible young talent to be nurtured and cultivated. Last year we dreamed of reaching an even younger group of creatives, and so the Kids Rule Fashion Show was born!
For the 10th year anniversary of Omaha Fashion Week, producers Nick and Brook Hudson surprised Omaha with none other than Fern Mallis. Fern is the creator of New York Fashion Week, former executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and, now, a role model for me.
