Omaha Fashion Week’s Fall 2022 season of fashion and glamour is continuing with our Emerging and Featured Designer Showcase. AUDERE was the theme of Thursday night and means, To Boldly Shine Like Gold, which showcases extravagance in any fashion. You will see designs focused on making a statement and demanding attention with bold, unique silhouettes.
Guests arrived to the Omaha Design Center and rushed to take photos by Alyssa Jean Photography on the Milan Laser Red Carpet, and enjoyed music from DJ Erin Poor while sipping Tito’s cocktails.
VIP Guests were greeted by valet, posed on the Milan Laser Red Carpet, then grabbed a Tito’s Vodka signature cocktail, attendees found their premium seats along the Omaha Fashion Week Runway. Thanks to Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery | Dreams MedSpa, every guest was a VIP and received valet parking and complimentary bento boxes by Attitude on Food.
Thursday night’s showcase was headlined by the Omaha Fashion Camp. Every year, Omaha Fashion Week and Develop Model Management come together to provide an opportunity for the future generations to learn about the fashion industry with a hands on approach. Campers learn everything from sewing and sketching to modeling, styling and photography, they get to experience it all while learning from experts in a caring and inclusive environment. Last night we saw a collection made by our Omaha Fashion Campers upcycled from secondhand clothing.
Waverly Monroe of KETV hosted our show, and brought such vibrant life to the stage. Develop Models were runway ready and the show continued with a collection from Feltersforte featuring intricate and versatile pieces, inspired by the mundane. An elegant collection from MaxJon of edgy, yet refined basics followed. KingDom Culture presented a collection of children’s wear with so much life and radiant energy. The House of Lavender presented a collection of androgynous silhouettes inspired by the original resort wear. Closing out our first half, Carl’s Bad Designs showcased evening wear with a twist of upcycled denim.
