Omaha Fashion Week continued last night with its HARMONY Featured Designer Showcase! Harmony, defined as a way of combining similar elements to accent their similarities, was the theme of Thursday evening’s show to a packed house at Omaha Design Center.

DJ Shor-T filled the room with popular hits and hip-hip tunes, as guests arrived early to the Pretty in Patina Pre-Party. The Surface Hair Styling Salon provided complimentary up-styles so attendees could watch the show in style. The Borsheims Red Carpet filled stylish guests snapping photos before heading inide to shop the Pop-Up Market.

Ballerinas from American Midwest Ballet glided down the Allure Med Spa Runway to Beauty to open the evening’s entertainment. Laurann Robinson of KETV Newswatch 7 proceeded to follow, as Judy Bales Design expressed experimental construction through directed dishevelment in her abstract wear collection. Zaftig Kitty shared inclusivity in her plus size women’s wear collection, filled with dramatic color and cutouts. To close out the first half, OFW's smallest models rocked complimentary colors and outer space patterns created by children’s wear designer, Vivi Design Studio.

Patrons spent intermission browsing luxury cars in the H&H Premier Vehicle Showcase and topping off their cocktails at the Absolut Elyx Bar.

F&F Clothing kicked off the second half of the show, and Nokota.Style followed with a collection full of pattern and texture working intricately together to represent the evening sky. Practicality engaged with style quickly after, in CJB Designs’ retro, athletic collection. Inspired by music and art of the early 90s, Maria Behnen Kansas City used reclaimed denim and sequins to rule the runway. AD Delgado, winner of last season’s Featured Designer Fashion Cup, closed out the evening with a continued collection, Enchanted Night. Delgado gathered inspiration for this evening wear collection from eras and cultures around the world, and had the crowd on their feet with applause.
