Empower was the theme of the evening with designers focused on clothing their customer in confidence. Headliner Denise Ervin Designs opened the night with a line of sophisticated separates available for custom order. 2016 SAC Fashion Cup Winner, Breanne Reiss, closed the evening with her quirky Sweatshirt of the Month Club line, also available for purchase throughout the week in the Pop-Up Shop Market.

Miranda Hanson Designs draws inspiration from haute couture designers in her evening wear collection. Makaylee Gayed empowers her wearers with emotion, as her clothing depicts the most trying time in her life to date, losing a child earlier this year. Dreamscapes by Stella B took the audience into a dreamlike fantasy land of sheer fabrics and jewel tones. A sharp turn from Re’Chaun Styles brought streetwear to the runway last night with a little bit of shimmer and ‘the orb coat that started it all’.

In the second half high school designer Em’s Trends shared her eveningwear collection designed to empower her peers through clothing. M0D introduced another streetwear collection for those whose taste is a little of the beaten path and designed to suit the personality of the wearer. In her collection, Beauty From Ashes, Vanya Designs explored the healing process of trafficking victims before their wedding day; models shed dark over layers to reveal stunning wedding gowns to depict the journey. Crystal Brakhage Designs ended the showcase with a glamorous eveningwear collection of black and gold.
