Aaron Sobetski is a high school student who will be showing an evening wear collection at Omaha Fashion Week this March.

Sobetski has previously participated in OFW’s student night showcase. He got his start in fashion and designing through Kent Bellows Mentoring Program where he met OFW designers, Kate Walz and Dan Richters.

Sobetski will be showing a collection inspired by the ‘40s. He tells us, “I hope to emulate a very 1940’s feel in this collection by accentuating the female body like the stars of the time period.”

Besides his involvement with OFW, Sobetski has previously helped produce a piece for the Max I. Walker/Ultra Chic Boutique Dress Flip. Some day, he hopes create his own couture label and relocate to a large city. “I hope to be able to show line after line in many fashion weeks around the globe,” Sobetski explains.

We are very fortunate to have this up and coming designer with us this season- make sure to purchase tickets for March 18th to see his collection on the runway!
