Omaha Fashion Week is an ever-evolving beast, constantly experiencing growth and change. There is no exception as we prepare for our 10th Anniversary season and make changes to better serve our designers!
Omaha Fashion Week has featured a variety of designers that run the gamut of experience levels. Starting this season, designers will be split into two tracks: Emerging and Featured Designers. Each track will have its own panel comprised of industry experts to best assist designers throughout the season. Thanks to this new change, OFW has the opportunity to serve a wider group of designers.
With all of this comes one of the most exciting changes: TWO PRIZE PACKAGES!
Emerging Designer Prize Package
- $1000 cash prize
- Bernina sewing machine
- Runway photos of their winning collection
- Portfolio review with Alyssa Dilts, owner of Develop Model Management
- Headlining Slot for Metropolitan Community College Student Night February 2018
- 10 VIP Tickets for Metropolitan Community College Student Night February 2018
Featured Designer Prize Package:
- $2000 cash prize
- Bernina sewing machine
- Editorial shoot for Omaha Fashion Magazine with a model provided by Develop Model Management
- Headlining Slot in 2018 (designer choice of February or August)
- Retail Space during a 2018 season (designer choice of February or August)
- 10 VIP Tickets for evening of their Headlining show
In addition to the two large prize packages, SAC Federal Credit Union will still award a $500 cash prize each night of the August 2017 season! Change is good.
