Omaha Design Center was a packed house Saturday evening as Omaha Fashion Week wrapped up its August season with the VIP Runway Finale! Mesonjixx provided original, live music as guests enjoyed the Pretty in Patina Pre-Party. Attendees were dressed to the nines to get their picture taken on the Borsheims Red Carpet. Guests enjoyed the Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery | Dreams MedSpa VIP Lounge and Absolut Elyx cocktails, while snacking on complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by Brandeis Catering, The Downtown Club, Attitude on Food, and Della Costa.

Erin Hassanzadeh of KETV Newswatch 7 started off the evening on the Allure Med Spa Runway to Beauty. Headlining Designer Borris Powell kicked off the finale with glamour, showcasing an elegant men’s and women’s collection that sparkled and shimmered. Emerging Designers then took the runway to compete for the OFW Fashion Cup, with Elyse Anastacia leading the way. Karissa Goosic, Alexis Amina, and H.Art Studios followed, and Lauren Nicole closed out the first half.

During intermission, models for the second half scurried back stage, with stylists of the OFW Beauty Alliance adding final touches to hair and makeup. Attendees shopped vendors in the Pop-Up Shop Market, as well as luxurious cars in the H&H Premier Vehicle Showcase.

Headlining Designer Michael Drummond led the audience into the second half with his fierce, asymmetrical collection. Bringing the audience back into the Featured Designer competition was Maria Behen Kansas City, followed by Judy Bales Designs, Ideas from the North, K:13, and Crystal Brakhage Designs. Headlining Designer Dan Richters closed out the evening with his eye catching, head turning collection.

Guests flocked to the Omaha Marriot Downtown in the Capitol District following the show for the Official OFW Afterparty. Live music and complimentary hors d’oeuvres were supplied while attendees mingled with models, designers, and the Omaha Fashion Week team.
