Omaha Fashion Week’s Fall 2024 season continued with an innovative show show of Emerging and Featured designers. This season's designers draw inspiration from the natural world and repurposed materials while exploring themes of community and cultural heritage.

Omaha Fashion Week is featuring a behind-the-scenes look into the life of models during our Fall 2024 VERUS Season. The atmosphere of the week features our take on big lights, and the big city, which served as an immersive backdrop for guests to take photos.

Our backstage Beauty Alliance run by SOHO Hair Academy, using Surface hair care products. They are absolutely killing the hair and makeup game!

Guests arrived at the Omaha Design Center and rushed to take photos by FotoFunSpot on the Milan Laser Red Carpet, and enjoyed music from DJ Angie Spence.

VIP Guests were greeted by valet, posed on the Milan Laser Red Carpet, and then found their premium seats along the Omaha Fashion Week Milan Laser Runway. Register for your personal red carpet gallery here to see all of your photos from last night!

Waverle Monre of KETV hosted our show with her highly contagious energy. She was styled by the incredibly talented, Sydney Moore, with her sustainably sourced secondhand and vintage finds.

Starting the night off with Dan Richters, an OFW legend, and his absolutely breathtaking interpretation of fungus as wearable art.

The show continues with collections from our Emerging Designers, starting with a stunning line of gowns from S.Nicloe by Shabeba honoring her Spanish heritage. Ruby June brought girlhood to the runway with a collection inspired by arts and crafts. Next, Manic Kandii presented a whimsical and wild collection for her alter ego. Transporting us to the streets of Paris, Ana Orescanin materialized love letters into playful feminine looks. Laboure switched the atmosphere to a world of Celtic lore that left the audience whispering. Then, "RAW" FOR MARAIS STUDIOS explored the opposition to purity punctuated with human motifs.

During intermission, house music kept the energy up and attendees enjoyed looking through their Omaha FASHION Magazine.

Lights dimmed and ELU by Elon opened the second half of our shows with a beautiful ode to her Ethiopian culture and her experience in the diaspora. Judy Bales Designs showed a line of cloaks shrowded in mystery and movement. Then a streak of rebellion marched down the runway in bold gown by Rachel Marie Hurst. And TRBROWN hosted a lovely and sophisticated tea party for high fashion lovers.

The final collection of the season was crafted by MalekR., as an ode to his late grandfather, honoring the discipline of craftsmanship.

And that’s a wrap on Omaha Fashion Week Fall 2024 VERUS Season! Thank you to everyone who made this season so filled with life and bright energy.

Until February…
