Omaha Fashion Week’s Fall 2024 season continued with an innovative show of Emerging and Featured designers. This season's designers draw inspiration from the natural world and repurposed materials while exploring themes of community and cultural heritage.
Omaha Fashion Week is featuring a behind-the-scenes look into the life of models during our Fall 2024 VERUS Season. The atmosphere of the week features our take on big lights, and the big city, which served as an immersive backdrop for guests to take photos.
Our backstage Beauty Alliance run by SOHO Hair Academy, using Surface hair care products. They are absolutely killing the hair and makeup game!

Waverle Monre of KETV hosted our show with her highly contagious energy. She was styled by the incredibly talented, Sydney Moore, with her sustainably sourced secondhand and vintage finds.
Starting the night off with tons of youthful and fun energy, Jenny Pool presented a collection honoring her inner child, taking inspiration from her 80’s childhood dreams.
The show continues with collections from our Emerging Designers, starting with a beautiful display of a utopian world by Matriaca Studio. Cherish gave old money a new look featuring preppy denim. Next, we were confronted with the habits of our wasteful society through Refuse Art’s collection of found items and trash turned to fashion. Alexander Napier gave us sophisticated and timeless ensembles. Workwear and streetwear melded into one for a line by the unfinished archive. We took a trip to grandma’s with Elsie’s Attic for a reimagined line of 90’s inspired looks.
Every Fall season of OFW, we award someone in our community the Sabrina Jones Spirit Award. This season, it was our honor to pass on this award to our beloved environmental designer and panelist, Brett Foster. Our community is forever changed by his involvement and passion for bolstering creativity in Omaha.
To close the first half, ThEnsō, Emerging Designer Golden Sheers Award winner from Spring 2024 presented a collection that truly embodied her passion for mixing her Japnese heratige with modern western styles.
During intermission, house music kept the energy up and attendees enjoyed looking through their Omaha FASHION Magazine.
Lights dimmed and guests were floored by adria renee’s Star Wars-inspired line to recognize all the women who make fandom culture what it is. Next, Angela B. sent a “barely there” line of gowns made of her own hand-knotted textiles down the runway. Un.real impressed with looks based on biomes with real-life plants and water features. Unconventional and refreshing bridal gowns paraded next from Livi’s Designs. Then the room became a post-apocalyptic techno scene as we watched Altered State’s depiction of life after war.
Finally, RÜTD, our Spring 2020 Emerging Designer Golden Sheers Award winner, displayed an innovative collection based on woodworking and preserving nature’s beauty through craftsmanship.
We can’t believe there is only one night left of the Omaha Fashion Week Fall 2024 VERUS Season! We are looking forward to our grand finale tomorrow night you all. See you along the Milan Laser Runway!
