We are so excited about our emcees this season! Two very special members of our fashion community will be taking the mic during shows to announce designers and keep the energy high. On Wednesday and Thursday nights, Keith Rodger, former Music Director for Omaha Fashion Week, will be our emcee. On Friday and Saturday nights, Waverle Monroe, long-time emcee from KETV, will be our emcee. Our emcees have to show up dressed to impress! Stylist, Zi, will be crafting looks for our emcees with the help of our official clothing partner, Thrift World.

KEITH RODGER | WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY EMCEE

“When I stepped down as Music Director in 2024, it was a very difficult decision to make. That role had been such a powerful part of my creative journey for the past 8 years. It connected me deeply to the heartbeat of OFW and the people who make it what it is. Over the past year, I felt something stirring... like a part of me still belonged there in some way. So when I got the call to return as an MC, it felt like a full-circle moment. I have so much love for the designers, models, staff, and supporters who keep our city resonating with creativity and vision. OFW continues to be a space for expression of the highest caliber, and I always feel called to be part of that legacy.”

WAVERLE MONROE | FRIDAY & SATURDAY EMCEE

“I love being a part of Omaha Fashion Week because it is an explosion of intrigue, inspiration, and creativity that captures the fashion essence of our city. I can’t wait to see all the new designers and what they bring to the stage. Their hard work deserves to be shown off and supported.”

ZI | EMCEE STYLIST

“I’m so excited to play a new role at OFW this fall! I’ve modeled for many AMAZING designers over the years, but styling the emcees WITH THRIFTED ITEMS is just the treatiest treat I could ask for!

I’d say a good 98% of my wardrobe has either been handed down to me, thrifted, depopped, found in a car trunk, or handmade by myself using old yarn and found hardwares….slow and circular fashion are kind of my thing. I love the practice of creating art— outfits in this case— with a massive set of mystery tools! Reusing goods forces you to reimagine their potential form and function, to push your personal boundaries and preferences; it’s playful, like life should be! I can’t wait to contribute to the showtime splendor of this upcoming OFW season!!”

THRIFT WORLD

Thrift World’s slogan, “Thrifting today for a better world tomorrow,” has inspired us to focus on slow fashion and how we can play a part in sustainable practices. As our official clothing partner, we hope to show audience members that there are many ways to support sustainable fashion. With locations all across Omaha, we encourage you to check them out!
