As many of you know, the Omaha Design Center held its grand opening last night. At the grand opening we featured two runway shows, Kate Walz and Design Parliament.

Kate Walz

Kate has been involved with Omaha Fashion Week since she was 12. Now, she goes to school in New York at Parsons School of Design. This collection was also shown in Fusion Fashion Show, an annual competition between The Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design. They select 15 designers from each school to represent their school. OFW is incredibly proud of Kate and all she has accomplished. She is the first designer to show at our brand new venue.

Design Parliament

Design Parliament brings a new level of partnership and customer service to fashion designers and the luxury retailers they serve. They assist designers in sales and marketing. Some of the brands they represent include Back Label, Dennis Merotto, Kevan Hall, Marie Saint Pierre, and Marjorie Renner.
