Omaha Fashion Week wrapped a GLITCHED season celebrating three fashion-packed days of talent in the Midwest, after an entire year away from the runway. The Omaha Design Center proudly hosted 36 designers, over 250 models, and Omaha Fashion Campers on the runway this season! Omaha did not disappoint, with over 2,000 attendees showing their support over the three days.
Designers competed nightly for prizes during Omaha Fashion Week Designer Showcases! Emerging Designers by Metropolitan Community College and Featured Designers were scored by an Omaha Fashion Week Selection Panel composed of Dan Richters, Barb Trout, Buf Reynolds, Brett Foster, Edelweiss Rothe, Jason Redmond, Nanci Stephenson, and Nick Huff. The panelists scored designs based on the creativity and innovation of the collections and overall presentation. Each night, an Emerging Designer and a Featured Designer will walk away with prize money. Only one Emerging Designer and one Featured Designer will be the winners of our Grand Prize Packages!

SABRINA JONES SPIRIT AWARD WINNER: JEFF HANSON
Before the finale of Friday’s WANTON Showcase, Omaha Fashion Week honored The Hanson Family with the Sabrina Jones Spirit Award to honor the legacy of their son, Jeff, who passed away in December. He was a blind visual artist whose prolific work raised nearly $7 million for charity. For several seasons, Jeff applied his beautiful artistry to collections of gorgeous dresses, which were honored on the runway with a celebration of his life.
