Leah Kettelson, a graduate from Georgia Southern University, will be returning to the runway this season. Leah completed a degree in Apparel Design and Fashion Merchandising. After graduation, Leah moved to New York City and worked with designers Elise Overland and Michael Kors. She now lives in McCook, Nebraska and designs custom gowns and accessories for her own company, Leah Kareen Studios.

Leah’s target includes customers in between 17 and 35 years of age in the search for that perfect prom or wedding gown. This season, she will be showing a collection that features the Pantone Color of the year for 2016, Rose Quartz. “This will be a collection of evening gowns that are elegant and can be worn to a wedding or gala…It will be a very sophisticate collection,” she tells us.

In the future, Leah hopes to design full time under her own line. “I would also like to get into mass production while still creating custom gowns,” she goes on to say.

Leah will be debuting this line at Omaha Fashion Week on Friday, August 26th. Tickets are going fast! Get yours here before it’s too late. See you there!
