Sydney Moore, a 14-year-old student and veteran OFW designer will be joining us again this season with her latest collection.
Sydney’s passion for design began when her grandma decided to teach her how to sew. Two years ago, she attended OFW and Develop Model Management’s Fashion Camp and from there her aspirations kept growing. She applied to be in Omaha Fashion Week as a student designer Spring 2015. After debuting looks in March, she was then accepted to show a full collection in August 2015.
Sydney describes her style as “bohemian chic.” This season she will be showing a ready to wear collection inspired by a scuba diving trip in Mexico with her grandfather. “When we came back up to the surface after the dive it was storming. I wanted to show that beautiful experience through hand-dyes,” she explains.
