Remember these stunning dresses made entirely out of money?

Now is your chance to design OFW’s SAC Federal Credit Union Money Dress! Designers have the opportunity to submit designs of their own vision for the dress. By submitting a design, you might get the chance to create a look that will walk the runway every night during Omaha Fashion Week!

Rules:

  • Submit your design from January 4 - 22, 2016
  • Designers are allowed to submit up to two designs
  • Bills or coins must cover at least 20 percent of the dress
  • Bills or coins cannot be defaced
  • Dress must fit a model sized 0 – 4
  • Dress must be completed and be available by February 22nd

Details:

The winning design will be announced January 28th and the winning designer will be notified at that time. The designer will be responsible for guarding the dress and protecting it during Omaha Fashion Week, March 15 – 20, 2016. Accessories are encouraged but not required. Develop Model Management will be providing a model to present the SAC Money Dress at OFW.

The designer will need to keep track of the exact amount of money used on the dress. This dollar amount is to be kept secret and not disclosed with anyone.

Members of the OFW selection panel will review all submissions and select the top three designs. SAC Federal Credit Union will be making the final selection of the design and designer for the SAC Money Dress.

SAC FCU will provide up to $700 to be used as design elements on or within the dress. The selected designer will receive prize money totaling $500 and allotted a $100 materials budget.

The SAC Money Dress will remain the sole property of SAC Federal Credit Union. Following Omaha Fashion Week, the dress will go on a tour of a minimum of four SAC FCU branches. The designer and dress will be featured on SAC's website and social media.

OFW and OFW’s audience looks forward to seeing this dress walk the runway each night and we can’t wait to see what ideas are submitted this season!
