Omaha Fashion Week is featuring a behind-the-scenes look into the world of volunteers in the Omaha FASHION Magazine. The atmosphere of the week features our take on all things unexpected and extravagant, with quirky displays and fun detailing throughout the Omaha Design Center. VIP Guests were greeted by valet and found their premium seats along the Omaha Fashion Week Runway.

Guests arrived at the Omaha Design Center and rushed to take photos by FotoFunSpot on the Red Carpet, and enjoyed music from DJ Herricane Cole. Register for your personal red carpet gallery here to see all of your photos from last night!

Our emcee, Maria Corpuz, hosted our show with confidence and charisma. She was styled by the incredibly talented, Sydney Moore, with her sustainably sourced secondhand and vintage finds. Our backstage Beauty Alliance run by SOHO Hair Academy, using Surface hair care products are absolutely killing the hair and makeup game!

To kick off the night, Develop Kids showcased a group of models walking the runway and feeling their most confident, while the crowd cheered them on! We loved seeing the youngest generation of fashion talent on the runway, some of which making their debut! Following Develop Kids, emerging designers showcased looks on the runway that highlighted themes of over-the-top expression, formal wear, and intricate hand-crafting. Collections by HAILE’S HOUSE, StXr, Kathlunar, So Angelic, and Sarah Skelly made up this group of emerging designers.

During intermission, house music kept the energy up and attendees enjoyed looking through their Omaha FASHION Magazine. Guests were sure to check out this season’s merchandise, designed by our very own apprenticeship program!

After intermission, headliner, Jenny Pool, showcased a collection of masquerade-inspired formal wear meant to challenge the imagination, fittingly tying into the theme of the season. The show continued with collections from featured designers: Anisha Fashionista and Designz by Raga. A collection of empowering womenswear meant to tell a story of personal redemption and growth closed out the show by LiloushLine.

After another incredible night at Omaha Fashion Week, we are looking forward to two more fashion-filled nights with you all! See you along the runway!
