Omaha Fashion Week’s Spring 2020 season kicked off yesterday with The Aisle, a literal party for brides planning their big day. A line of eager guests was already waiting as doors to the Omaha Design Center opened, and brides were greeted with sashes and champagne as they made their way inside.
Vocalist Nick Fleissner serenaded the crowd as the brides-to-be shopped bridal trends, catering, décor, and more from a curated collection of wedding vendors! Before the show, guests captured memories on the Omaha Fashion Week Red Carpet with their bridal parties.
Emcee Alexandra Stone of KETV NewsWatch 7 introduced captivating collections to the Allure Med Spa Runway to Beauty. Little Jo Desings, Vanya Designs, and Wild Daisy Bridal fascinated the audience with elegant designs in the first set, incorporating delicate beading, long trains, and playful silhouettes.
During the first intermission, guests sipped Absolut Juice cocktails and enjoyed house music. The room filled with chatter as brides mingled with vendors and shared plans and ideas for their big day and toured the Omaha Design Center with their bridal passport!
Livi’s Designs Bridal, Hannah Caroline Couture, and Dream Dress Express paired with Tip Top Tux brought elegant collections from classic to unconventional silhouettes, in an array of unique colors during the second set of the show.
During another intermission, brides met with designers for consultations on their dream dress. Wedding planning gave way to pampering as guests treated themselves to mini spa treatments like eyebrow waxing, massages, hair consultations, and more, and even entered to win $250 in spa services from Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery | Dreams MedSpa.
The audience returned to their seats for Only by Faith, KLYNNE, Dillard’s Honeymoon, Livi’s Designs Honeymoon, and Dillard’s Bridal to finish out the show with wedding looks and honeymoon wear fit for every bride.
After the show, brides mingled with their wedding party and took a last look at all the local vendors. Each bride left The Aisle inspired, with plenty of ideas for their wedding day!
