As Friday evening rolled around, designers, models, and vendors were busy at work getting ready for Omaha Fashion Week’s sold out ADORNED Emerging Designer Showcase. Guests arrived in stylish fashion, wearing trends of all kinds. DJ Valencia set the tone for the evening with electric music during the Pretty In Patina Pre-Party! Guests filled the Pop-Up Shop Market, as they sipped on their Absolut Elyx cocktails. Surface Hair prepped guests for a glamorous evening at the Surface Salon Styling Bar powered by Xenon Academy.

The Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery | Dreams MedSpa VIP Lounge was bustling prior to the first half, as guests enjoyed complimentary cocktails, catering by Brandeisn and entered for their chance to win a SkinMedica Award Winning System from Dreams MedSpa!

As the clocked counted down, guests found their way to their seats, filling every chair with all eyes on the Allure Med Spa Runway to Beauty. Laurann Robinson of KETV Newswatch 7 energetically introduced the evening and the first half of the show began.

Headliner Vivi Design Studio started off the night with her children’s clothing collection that showcased the joy of childhood with creatively classic silhouettes in bright colors and prints.

Victoria Cygan then took the stage as the first emerging designer of the evening, with makeup prints, girlish colors, and feminine silhouettes. Lana sported a collection inspired by the arts; deliberate details created an artistic and effortless ambience. Melissa Atkinson strived to help trans women find inner acceptance of who they are in her brightly colored collection! Otto & Olsen hit the runway with a collection created for the divine female, then Greta Slagle Designs debuted her womenswear collection of up-cycled business wear clothing! Lovellfaye closed out the first half with her collection inspired by the New Zealand oceanfront and countryside, exhibiting vibrant colors and asymmetric silhouettes.

Intermission gave guests the opportunity to snag their photos on the Omaha Fashion Week Red Carpet and top off their drinks at the Absolut Elyx bar. Models of the second half lined up backstage and designers took a big breath, both excited and anxious for their designs to make their entrance.

Elem by ML kicked off the second half with garments that went from casual street style, to professional chic. Xi 2 Si followed with a collection made from repurposed clothing, emphasizing sustainability in fashion. KLYNNE brought serenity and elegance to the runway, with an inviting fairytale essence. Blond showed a collection influenced by diversity, with a vintage spin, and Hannah Jensen kept natural beauty in mind with her women’s dress wear collection, to close out the evening!
