Omaha Fashion Week wrapped the VERUS season which highlighted behind the scenes of what it means to be a model. The Omaha Design Center proudly hosted 30 emerging and featured designers, 8 headliners, 407 total looks over all 3 nights, and 284 models on the runway this season! Omaha did not disappoint, with nearly 3,000 attendees showing their support over the three days.

Throughout the week, we showcased 16 Emerging Designers + 14 Featured designers who presented their collections during 3 nights of our Fall 2024: VERUS Season. Finally, we featured 8 headlining designers including 4 of our previous Golden Shears award winners, 2 veteran OFW designers, our beloved teen Omaha Fashion Campers as well as Develop Model Management’s Kid’s Division.

We are so proud to share that we were able to give back $13,500+ to our designers and aid their ability to grow their brands, in hopes of sustaining a viable career in fashion. $3,500 came from our Investor’s Circle program, $7,000+ was awarded to our Golden Shears Winners, and $3,005 was given back to designers from ticket sales proceeds.

This season’s designers spanned 50 years of life experience with ages 17-60+ represented. Of these, 7 of our designers are high school or college students. We have 21 designers returning to our runway, and 15 designers who were brand new to our show. This group is from all over the US including our local Nebraskans, our neighbors in Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri, and even more making the trek from California, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin.

Over the last 6 months, we’ve worked with 68 volunteers to make our events happen, including Model Call, Rack Check, Set Up, Showcases, and Tear Down.

During our showcases, we also hosted 76 Beauty Alliance members and 51 Press members.

It takes a VILLAGE to put on the nation's fourth-largest fashion week and we truly could not do this without each and every one of YOU!
