MEET THE DJS
Omaha Fashion Week is thrilled to announce our all-female lineup of DJs for the Spring 2025 OUTRÉ season!
DJ Riz | WEDNESDAY STUDENT NIGHT
I've played OFW once in 2024 as a Preparty DJ. I love to play House music! The high energy, the urge to dance and really let loose is addictive. That's the joy I want others to feel. I make sure the party stays live by playing music guests didn’t know they needed to hear and throwing the crowd off by playing the classics in a fun, new way.
How do you express yourself through fashion?
I'm a very casual & comfortable all-black dresser but I love to add a splash of color with my outfit or some fancy vintage jewelry to make things pop. My favorite thing to do (and usually the first thing I do) when traveling is to rummage through thrift stores and Goodwill and see what I can find.
What is one thing that you love about the Omaha community?
I love how much talent and creativity there is in Omaha. Musicians, painters, fashion designers, poets, event curators, small businesses, etc. People, most especially women & POC, are taking opportunities to express themselves however they can and I'm here for it.
Herricane Cole | THURSDAY SHOWCASE & SHOP THE RUNWAY SUNDAY
This will be my third time playing at OFW. Each time gets bigger and better than the last! So happy to be back again!
Love me some R&B, Funk, and Alternative. So good on all fronts! Feeling out the crowd is so important. I always say the hardest song to play is the first one, because you really have to decipher the room and decide how you want the night to start. From there, the night ebbs and flows and it’s our job to keep it lively and funky and have fun with it!
One thing that I love about Omaha is that your dreams feel attainable here. It’s not some big city like LA or New York where there are so many options that it in turn feels overwhelming. In Omaha, if there’s something you want to accomplish or a person you want to meet and learn from, I think it’s 100% possible to achieve that. People are approachable and knowledgeable and pretty cool with the ventures they either start here or are working on here. Whatever it is you want, it’s doable in Omaha and I think that’s incredible for our community.
DJ Crabrangucci | FRIDAY SHOWCASE
The master of transitions, blends, and reading the dance floor. One of the most booked DJ's in the area, and certainly the go-to for events that want a fresh take on musical curation, Chalis Bristol aka DJ Crabrangucci plays everything from disco to indie rock to radio hits to house music to Korean pop and more! The 2022 and 2023 Omaha Entertainment & Arts "Outstanding DJ" award-winner, Chalis has played over 500 events in the last five years - everywhere from the College World Series to Baxter Arena to Steelhouse to the MAHA Music Festival. She has also been featured on regional and national radio and podcasts. Powered by music and community, she is also the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing at the Omaha Symphony and empowers Young Femmes and Non-Binary Youth as a board member for Omaha Girls Rock.
Angie Spence | SATURDAY FINALE SHOWCASE
I LOVE OFW!! This is absolutely my favorite time of year. I have had the pleasure of DJing this event since 2018 and I always have the best time! OFW does a beautiful job of supporting the community and giving back in so many ways. It’s empowering to be a part of such an amazing group of creators!
I’ve been DJing for seven years now. My love for House Music began in the 90's, after attending my first rave in my hometown of Ottawa, Canada. I fell in love with the dance floor and the feeling of unity that the music and people brought to the underground scene. I quickly became passionate about music and worked to promote events for local and international clubs and DJs. More than 20 years later, my love for the music, the scene and the dance floor led me to pursue the inevitable dream of becoming a DJ myself and sharing my passion.
