I am 23 years old, I grew up in a small town in Iowa and am on my 6th year here in Omaha. I love doing anything and everything outdoors, and have a soft spot for wildlife and animals in general! I enjoy running, reading, and movies in my spare time, but most of all spending time with my family and friends! Cooking has become one of my most cherished activities over the years, as it not only connects me to memories of my mom and both of my grandmas, but it also allows me to express my creativity in a different way.
What was your favorite memory of this season at Omaha Fashion Week?
My favorite memory of Omaha Fashion Week was meeting and collaborating with so many unique and talented designers, models, photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, and volunteers! It is truly incredible to connect with so many people who see fashion as an extension of personality, a unique expression of individuality, and a vivid bold display of confidence, beauty, and storytelling. Since I was young I saw fashion through that scope but had yet to experience this perspective from others around me firsthand. Omaha Fashion Week brings so many individuals close together to not only see and hear the story and beauty of fashion but also to feel it in your hearts. To get to share that experience with so many wonderful people was my favorite memory of this season.

! have lived in the same house since I was born. I never try to judge anyone, and I love seeing how people express their style in different ways. One of my favorite things to do is look at how to style clothes and update my fashion sense. I love being involved in the fashion industry and being able to represent different designers. Some other things I am involved in are volleyball, tennis, and show choir! I enjoy traveling every year with my family and hanging out with my friends on the weekends. Something I do to enjoy my school day a little more is get up early and style a cute outfit. I would like to say that feeling confident and presentable makes me do better in school! My favorite subjects are math and science and I have joined many clubs for this school year. I would like to continue to stay involved in many things in the upcoming years, including Omaha Fashion Week! Spring and Fall fashion weeks are some of my favorite days of the entire year. They make my week, month, and year automatically better and more positive. I am looking forward to trying out in December and can’t wait to see the designers for the spring!
What was your favorite memory of this season at Omaha Fashion Week?
One of my favorite things about this past fashion week is the overall vibe and atmosphere. Everyone is so kind backstage and makes me feel super comfortable with being myself. I never feel judged because everyone is always hyping each other up, no matter the circumstances. Also, I love being able to represent such cool artists and getting to show off their hard work. My favorite thing is seeing everyone’s outfits and looks come together behind the scenes and seeing how the mood changes throughout the night. It automatically makes me happier to look around and see people’s faces glow up and their confidence boost. Even the bathroom is such a positive place! Last year I walked in there and there was a girl singing while doing her makeup. Not only did she have one of the most beautiful voices I’ve heard, but everyone was also complimenting her and asking her to keep singing. It almost made me tear up from the joy and pureness of the situation. I walked out of the bathroom relaxed and excited to walk for the night!

I am originally from Nashville, Tennessee, and from a young age I struggled to find where I fit in due to being very mixed and not only that I was the biggest tomboy and nerd. I was rough and competitive, and I loved things from science to video games, to Star Trek. It was a little easier there considering Nashville is a very diverse city. Having moved to Kansas City at the age of 11 I really began struggling to find myself, dealing with insecurities, I believed I had to fit in one group to be accepted. I was always that way until the beginning of this year. I began loving how diverse my background and looks were and began expressing my love for it even if I couldn't fit in one box. So now I still rough house, play video games, and enjoy my nerdy things proudly, but just added modeling into the mix.
