On Wednesday night, we celebrated community organizations uplifting fashion education in Nebraska with 100 looks showcased on the runway by community collections. A series of collections by Develop Kids showcased models under 12 years old from Develop Model Management, giving them the experience of walking the runway with everyone cheering them on. Omaha South High School students from the fashion program showed off looks they designed during the school year on the runway. Omaha Fashion Campers, 11-17 years old, got the opportunity to show off looks they designed during camp on the runway! This week-long camp takes place every summer, hosted by Omaha Fashion Week and Develop Model Management.

Making the hair and makeup magic happen backstage, the Omaha Fashion Week Beauty Alliance led by SOHO Hair Academy with products provided by Surface Hair Care styled 394 looks for the runway over all four nights. This season, 59 hair and makeup professionals and students made up the Beauty Alliance!

Over the last six months, we’ve worked with 59 volunteers to make our events happen throughout Model Call, Rack Check, show set up, and showcases. It takes a village to put on the nation’s fourth-largest fashion week and we truly couldn’t do this without you!
