During Omaha Fashion Week presented by SAC Federal Credit Union, a variety of contest and competitions were happening. Read on to find out what they were, who won, and what the winners received!

SAC FASHION CUP WINNERS

This season marked the first time in Omaha Fashion Week history that two designers received a SAC Fashion Cup. These winners were chosen during the VIP Runway Finale by our Celebrity Selection Panel comprised of Fern Mallis, creator of New York Fashion Week and previous Project Runway designers, Michael Drummond and Amanda Valentine.

Emerging Designer SAC Fashion Cup Winner: Zaftig Kitty

STYLING TEAM WINNERS

Thanks to Surface Hair Health Art and BHUMI Brushes, we were able to award prizes to the styling teams who did hair and make up for the SAC Fashion Cup winning lines. Congratulations to:

DEVELOP MODEL MANAGEMENT MODEL CONTEST WINNERS

Alyssa Dilts, owner of Develop Model Management works hard each season to cast models for Omaha Fashion Week. During the week, models competed for two prizes.

Social Media Contest Winner: Italia Rouse

Current models signed to Develop Model Management competed for a photo shoot which includes a fully styled 5 page editorial in Scout Editorial online magazine. This contest was all about the social media game. Models received a point for each time they post an image at the Develop Model Management Selfie Station backstage using the hashtag #developmodels.

New Face Winner: Isabella Escamilla

Many models hitting the Omaha Fashion Week runway are scouted by Develop Model Management during OFW Model Calls. This group was competing for an exclusive mother agency contract with Develop Model Management, website placement for a year and a photo shoot with a top photographer.

NIGHTLY DESIGNER WINNERS

Each night of designer showcases, Monday-Thursday, designers were competing for a $500 cash prize from SAC Federal Credit Union. The Emerging Designer Selection Panel comprised of Denise Ervin, Dan Richters, Dr. Barb Trout, Nanci Stephenson, and Sam Hohman selected winners for Monday and Tuesday. The Featured Designer Selection Panel comprised of JLynn Hausmann, Kelly Valentine, Nick Huff, Pamela Finn, and Vanessa Barrett selected winners for Wednesday and Thursday.
