SUNDAY 2.23

Alexandra Stone joined the KETV team in July 2014. She comes to Omaha from Amarillo, Texas where she anchored the morning show Today in Amarillo, and reported on city politics, the historic drought, and large area wildfires. Alexandra was born and raised in Des Moines Iowa, and she’s happy to be back near her home! She is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s of Journalism. Alexandra’s lifetime love of writing and great stories is what drew her to journalism. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys traveling, cooking, water sports, and spending lots of time with her friends and family!

TUESDAY 2.25

Waverle Monroe comes from Northern Minnesota where she worked as a morning reporter in Duluth. She joined KETV as a Multimedia Journalist in mid-November. Though, Waverle transitioned from Duluth, she is originally from Omaha. She graduated from Burke High School in 2012 and went on to study broadcast communications at UNO. As a multimedia journalist, Waverle uses all platforms to provide audiences with news content. If you see Waverle out and about she will most likely be by herself, as she one-woman-bands almost all her stories. Waverle danced most of her life, practiced five years in Pointe, and still occasionally slips on her dance shoes. She has a four year old Maltese-poodle named Winston.

WEDNESDAY 2.26

DaLaun Dillard joined the KETV team in April 2019. He comes to Omaha from WMBD in Peoria, IL where he spent two years as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor. He covered some of the biggest stories in Central Illinois from city council, local and state elections, and dozens of exclusive stories and breaking news. DaLaun has a passion for being a voice for the voiceless and shedding light on the issues affecting the community. DaLaun is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists. When he isn’t reporting the news, you can spot DaLaun out running on a nearby trail, in a gym, or eating at a local restaurant. DaLaun is excited to call Nebraska home, eager to get involved with the community, and ready to tell the stories that affect you.

THURSDAY 2.27

Michelle Bandur's award winning career has put her in the path of several deadly tornadoes, hurricanes, on death row and inside the Los Angeles Lakers locker room. That's what she loves about being a reporter. "I go to work and have no idea what the day will bring. I learn something new everyday," Michelle said. Born and raised in Omaha, Michelle originally joined KETV Newswatch 7 in late 2009, and rejoined the station as a reporter in November of 2016. Michelle takes pride in telling the stories of her neighbors and helping them with problems or injustices they may run across. She also seeks out positive and inspirational stories, where ordinary people overcome obstacles to accomplish extraordinary feats.

FRIDAY 2.28

James Wilcox joined KETV Newswatch 7 in March of 2017. He grew up in southern Minnesota and received a degree in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University. James says, “I love my job and love telling stories that have an impact. News isn’t always good, so whenever possible I push for stories that bring something positive or spur change.” An award-winning journalist, James has been honored by the Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists, the Minnesota Associated Press, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with a regional Emmy nomination for his investigative report looking into the growing number of homeless youth in Rochester. He’s also been recognized by the Associated Press in Both New York and Nebraska.

SATURDAY 2.29

David Earl has been a part of the KETV NewsWatch 7 team since 2013 as an anchor. David co-anchors for KETV NewsWatch 7 as well as MeTV NewsWatch 7. During his time off air, the Illinois native enjoys traveling, biking, and golfing. He is a huge college basketball fan, making March his favorite month of the year!
