Omaha Fashion Week enjoyed another evening of phenomenal designs in the Fashion Tent last night! The designers who presented collections formed our second Ready-to-Wear Showcase for the week.
Sac Federal Credit Union presented designer, Christopher Di Giorgio with the $500 top prize for the night. We would like to give a big congrats to Christopher for his amazing work!
We were thrilled to have the following designers join us last night for the festival of fashion:
Terri Buckner

Terri is the designer for NueVintage. Last night, she showcased a collection inspired by the Mojave Desert. Her garments featured pieces with fringe, suede, silks, and turquoise.
Molly O’Brien
Designer: Molly O'Brien

Stylist: Kontempo
Molly presented OFW fans with a ready-to-wear collection inspired by the city of London. Specifically, her inspiration drew from the geometrical lines of the architecture found in the city mixed with soft details inspired by the London Gardens.
Wallflower

Wallflower is designed by Erica Cardenas and Bryan Frost. They brought designs with a military vibe mixed with laid back 1960’s camping attire. Their inspiration for this collection came from “Flora.ology,” or the study of a Wallflower.

Alyssa came to OFW with a fun collection inspired by the 60’s. The looks from this collection featured bright colors and floral prints.
Christopher Di Giorgio- Winner

Christopher is a menswear designer and as mentioned above, the winner for last night’s RTW Showcase! His collection was based around the concept of functional pieces that are also aesthetically pleasing. Christopher’s inspiration comes from vintage Tommy Hilfiger. He showcased funky, fashionable garments on the runway, which ultimately granted him the title of Thursday night’s top designer! Congratulations again to Christopher!
Not only did we have an amazing show of designers at the showcase, but Borhseims Fine Jewelry and Gifts was also featured on the runway last night with beautiful, bold accessories.

Tonight we will be presenting our Evening Wear Showcase at the Fashion Tent. This is our last night before our VIP Finale, which will be held on Saturday August 22nd!
