Omaha Fashion Week is slowly coming to an end with tonight being the last showcase for the fashion celebration! Last night was our Evening Wear Showcase. Designers who presented their elegant collections included Fella Vaughn, Alison Cloet, Andrea Hurtt, Leah Kettleson, Alesha Johnson, Buf Reynolds, and Denise Ervin.
Omaha Fashion Week is thrilled to announce Friday’s top designer- Denise Ervin! Sac Federal Credit Union presented Denise with the $500 top prize for the night.
As always, extremely talented designers joined Omaha Fashion Week for this showcase. They include:
Fella Vaughn
Designer: Fella Vaughn
Model: Develop Model Management
Stylist: Rosy Beauty Salon
Fella brought a collection inspired by the movement of fire, water, and air. Vibrant, bright colors and elegant designs were featured in his garments.
Alison Cloet
Designer: Alison Cloet
Model: Develop Model Management
Stylist: Seven Salon
Alison showcased an eveningwear collection pulling inspiration from Monet’s paintings and Monet’s garden in Giverny, France.
Andrea Hurtt
Andrea is the designer of Amaryllis Designs. Her collection titled, “Tea Time in the Garden,” presented beautiful, fun dresses, each based off of a flower.
Leah Kareen

Stylist: Victor Victoria
Leah presented Omaha Fashion Week guests with an eveningwear collection titled “Spring Soiree.” Her dresses featured rich colors inspired by a garden party.
Alesha Johnson

Stylist: Garbos
Alesha Johnson is the designer of alesha.beth. The collection she presented last night at OFW was based off of seaglass, broken trash glass that has been smoothed by the ocean.
Buf Reynolds

Stylist: EQ School of Hair Design
Buf’s collection last night explored what is beyond us. Her evening wear featured fine gathering on bodices with flowing movement on the skirts creating an easy to wear garment.
Denise Ervin - Winner

Stylist: Garbos Midtown
As mentioned above, Denise Ervin now claims the title of Friday’s top designer! Denise’s collection was inspired by East India. She used authentic Indian fabrics, trim, and graphic designs to enhance the collection. Congratulations once again to Denise on her superb work that she brought with her to Omaha Fashion Week!
