Omaha Fashion Week Announces August 2012 Designers
Omaha, NE, Apr. 23, 2012 - Omaha Fashion Week organizers announced this week the designers who have been selected to show collections during the organization's August 2012 shows. They include 12 newcomers, four high school students, two designers who currently live outside of Omaha and two designers who are launching national brands.

Designer selection interviews will take place on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. We are pleased to announce the expert panelists who will be interviewing applicants who have made it to the interview round. The designer line up for August 2012 will be announced on April 23. From time to time questions arise about whether or not Omaha Fashion Week should pay models, designers, photographers and stylists. Tonight at our model call, we are expecting a group to be on hand passing out flyers to attendees asking them to question us on how they will be compensated for their involvement in our Spring Show. Omaha Fashion Week has assembled a panel of experts who will interview designer candidates for the next season of Runway Shows, scheduled for March 19-24, 2012. Panelist input will help organizers make final selection decisions. Read panelist bios below.
