In one week it will almost be time for our second designer showcase for Omaha Fashion Week March 2016! Hannah Flores, Kylie Revense, Ciara Fortun, Aaron Sobetski, Alyssa Koory, and Madyssen Hrlevich will be featured on the runway for this showcase. Continue reading to learn more about each of these designers!

Hannah Flores and Kylie Revense

Flores and Revense will be teaming up this season to present Brazen by R&F Designs. This collection will be a plus size collection for women. The designs are meant to evoke a powerful and confident woman. Revense and Flores met while attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. They were both in the fashion design program.

Ciara Fortun

Fortun is a 15-year-old high school student. She is the designer of Noelle Designs. “The collection I am planning to show is based on classic and timeless colors; black, white and gold,” she tells us. The collection will be all dresses and skirts. In the future, Fortun hopes to attend a design college for fashion design. One day she plans to have collections for retail or custom orders.

Aaron Sobetski

Sobetski is a women’s wear designer from right here in Omaha. His collection is inspired by evening wear in the ‘30s and ‘40s. This collection will feature lace, lines and golden details. In the future, Sobetski hopes to become a professional women’s wear designer. He plans to attend Parsons School of Design after high school.

Alyssa Koory

Koory is another designer from Omaha. She began designing at the age of 14. The collection she is showing is an avant garde line inspired by the town Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. Each outfit will be a different interpretation of the Raven. Her color scheme will only include one color; black. Koory hopes to continue designing in the future and to produce a new line each season.

Madyssen Hrlevich

Hrlevich is a 17-year-old designer also from Omaha. Her designs are contemporary ready-to-wear for the high-end workingwoman. Hrlevich’s collection will incorporate embroidery, layering, beading, lace, color blocking and sharp lines. She hopes to one day own her own high-end boutique that sells sophisticated women’s clothing designed by local independent designers.

We hope you can make it out for an evening full of fashion! Tickets are still available here, see you there!
