From time to time questions arise about whether or not Omaha Fashion Week should pay models, designers, photographers and stylists. Tonight at our model call, we are expecting a group to be on hand passing out flyers to attendees asking them to question us on how they will be compensated for their involvement in our Spring Show. A. Yes, there is an OFW Model Pool. We started the Model Pool in October as a way to simplify the model selection process for Omaha Fashion Week. In the past, there was difficulty in matching models and designers directly after a model call. Earn yourself some street cred with Omaha Fashion Week by joining our Street Team! What glorious activities does being on the street team entail? You will be asked to distribute posters, flyers, magazines, gifts and other goodies from Omaha Fashion Week to retailers, coffee shops and salons in your area...and then report back to us where you delivered items when. In return, you will receive free tickets to Omaha Fashion Week runway shows and other fun perks we come up with along the way such as invites to parties, educational workshops provided through Omaha Fashion Week, etc.
